Hi All,

Has anyone been on Prednisolone for a long time and if so what effects did they notice the longer they took it. I have been on it for 19 months now and am currently on a maintenance dose of 7mg daily which i can't get below because i have a flare up. I also tak 50 mg 6mp and 4800mg Mezavant XL.
I feel very depressed at the moment and the bones in my shoulder has started to hurt bad and i'm hoping that it is not Osteporosis as they have lost the results of my bone scan!!! I am tired constantly and most recently have not had a solid bowel movement for 3 months and am having little accidents which means I don't want to go out and then at night i'm up 4 times urinating, and then I get depressed as I wonder why I take the tablets as i'm never well.
Any advise from anyone on long term prednisolone would be greatly appreciated.

Also forgot to mention I now have what look like strech marks on the inside of both my thighs, and a big moon face to cap it all off.
