Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 150 g rolled oats
  • 50 g almond flour
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 30 g dark chocolate chips optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, rolled oats, almond flour, maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  • If desired, fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  • Using a spoon or your hands, drop spoonfuls of the cookie mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping them into cookies.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on a cooling rack before serving.

Notes

These cookies are naturally sweetened by ripe bananas and maple syrup, making them a healthier dessert option.
Feel free to add other mix-ins such as chopped nuts or dried fruit.
