Hi folks - I've started getting pains in my hip joints overnight. Although this can be quite severe it goes quite quickly if I get up and wander about. Does anyone know if this is likely to be connected to the Crohn's and if so is there anything I can do to nip it in the bud and stop it getting worse. Thanks
Hi Slick. Sorry to hear about the hip pains – that sounds pretty rough. While I'm not a doc, I've heard from others that joint pains can sometimes be linked to Crohn's. Theres a post on this website that talks about that too.
One thing that might help is gentle stretching or maybe even some light exercise when you feel the pains creeping in. I've found that getting up and moving around can sometimes ease the discomfort.
But hey, it might be worth giving your doc a shout just to be on the safe side. They might have some more targeted advice or even a something else that may help
